Dr. Voss, a particle physicist who used to work at CERN in Geneva, was introduced to Co-Founder and CEO of Syte Ofer Fryman. Syte’s vision to make every image interactable and shoppable interested Voss. He spent 4 years building their visual AI algorithm. Using machine learning, the visual search tool allows users to upload a photo of something they like and receive visually similar items available for sale. Customers using Syte.ai’s technology include Kohls, Boohoo, Farfetch, Marks & Spencer and Kim Kardashian’s Screenshop app.
